Chennai, Jan 26 (IANS) Tamil Nadu celebrated the 66th Republic Day with patriotic fervour Monday with Governor K. Rosaiah unfurling the national flag at the Marina beach here.
Rosaiah also took the salute from the three wings of the armed forces and other security agencies.
Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam and his ministers and a large number of people enjoyed the various floats and dances by school students dressed in colourful attire.
District collectors across the state unfurled the national flag and took salute from police contingents.
