Pavel's death comes two days after the mysterious death of his party colleague, 61-year-old Vladimir Budanov, who was found dead in the same hotel in Rayagada, Odisha. Four Russian tourists, including Vladimir and Antonov, had checked into the hotel on December 21 after visiting Daringbadi in the Kandhamal district.
