Movie: RRR

Cast: Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgn

Direction: SS Rajamouli

Rating: 4 stars

Writers: V Vijayendra Prasad and SS Rajamouli

Where to watch: Cinemas

Kya Hai Story: The story of the film is set during the 1920s and begins in the jungles of Adilabad. In the first scene, a tribal girl is making a tattoo while singing a song in the hands of the British Queen, and then the British Maharaja returns from the hunt. At the behest of the queen, the British take her with them after paying a little money for that girl. At the same time, when her mother tries to save and stop her daughter, she is killed. The film begins with this sentence. Komaram Bheem (Junior NTR) enters the field on behalf of the tribals to rescue and bring the girl back from the British. At the same time, Alluri Sitaram Raju (Ram Charan), on behalf of the British, comes forward to stop Bhima. Although the story progresses and it comes to the fore that Ram's motive, like Bhima, is to teach a lesson to the British, the approach of both is different. Now how they fight and meet next... You have to watch this movie to know. While Ajay Devgan's character in the story is like Venkat Rama Raju, Ram's father and a freedom fighter, Alia Bhatt as Sita is Ram's love interest.

Kaisa Hai's Direction and Acting: Rajamouli's direction has an edge, but at the same time you get a feeling throughout the film that RRR is a typical South Indian masala film. The action sequences and VFX of the film are excellent, which keep you hooked throughout the film. Talking about acting, you will not be able to decide till the end whether Ram Charan or Junior NTR, who did you like more. Both have done a wonderful job. At the same time, the entry of both the characters is also strong, seeing as you will be forced to whistle. Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt's characters are small but good and both have done a good job. Apart from these, Ray Stevenson as Scott Buxton and Allison Juchi as Lady Buxton. Along with this, Oliva Morris is looking cute as Jr NTR's love interest.

Where did it fall short: The story of the film looks a bit lost, if it was tight, then RRR would have proved better. Seeing some scenes, you think that what was the need of it in the film, while some dialogues also seem to be pulled. Apart from this, the music of the film proves to be insipid in keeping it hooked. While watching a film, you are attached to the story and enjoy the songs, but apart from the film, you cannot enjoy these songs very much (based on the Hindi music of the film).

Kya Kuch Hai Special: Some action sequences of the film are good, be it Jr NTR's fighting scene with a lion, or Ram Charan alone fighting a huge crowd as a police officer. Apart from these two, the scene in which Ram and Jr NTR meet for the first time and save a child together is also very strong. The climax of the film is quite accurate, where Ram appears in the incarnation of Lord Shri Ram and is seen ridding the British of sixes.

WATCH OR NOT: RRR is the 12th film of SS Rajamouli's career. In his career too, there have been some hits like ordinary directors and some flops, although the success of Bahubali gave him global recognition. After which many films are compared in the same way, whether it is better than Bahubali or not. RRR cannot be compared with Bahubali because both the films are different, although it would not be wrong to say that Rajamouli and RRR have come out ahead of Bahubali in terms of work. It will be a wonderful experience to enjoy this film with family in the cinema hall.
