The drugs used in the vaccine have been sourced from Russia's Top Secret plant. Drugs are sourced from the Soviet Biological Weapons Research Plant of Siberia.

The vaccine is named EpiVacCorona. Its trial will be completed in September. Recently Russia launched the world's first Covid-19 vaccine 'Sputnik-V'. It was prepared by the Russian Ministry of Defense and Gamalaya Research Center. This vaccine has been in the great controversy.

The first trial of EpiVacCorona, Russia's second vaccine, has been done on 57 volunteers. Scientists claim that volunteers were admitted to the hospital for 23 days. He was examined during the trial. No side effects have been seen in the trials conducted so far.

Registration in October and production preparation in November

The goal of the vaccine was to look for immune responses. For this, two doses of vaccine were given to volunteers in 14 to 21 days. Russia hopes that the vaccine can be registered by October and production will begin in November.

This vaccine is designed in collaboration with the Vectors State Research Center of Virology and Biotechnology. It is one of the two leading institutions in the world that has the largest stock of chickenpox vaccines. The second institute is in the US.

Worked on 13 vaccines of Corona

The Soviet Biological Weapons Research Plant and the Vectors Research Center have jointly worked on 13 vaccines of coronavirus so far. Their testing was done on animals. The smallpox vaccine was developed industrially in association with the Vector Research Center. In the last few years, Russia, along with this institution, produced antidotes of bubonic plague, Ebola, Hepatitis-B, HIV, SARS, and cancer.
