Corona cases are increasing continuously in the country. On the previous day, 16,281 new corona patients appeared and 28 patients died. The news of relief is that the number of patients recovering stood at 13,991. At present, the active cases of corona in the country are more than 1 lakh 39 thousand. A day before this, in 20038 new cases of the corona was found, while 47 patients died. West Bengal and Sikkim recorded a positivity rate of over 19% and Maharashtra had the highest number of deaths.
On the first day as soon as it became free on July 15, 13 lakh people got booster doses. The date has also come for the booster doses of more than 52 crore people.
The number of people taking booster doses increased 15 times
All people above 18 years of age in the country have started getting a booster dose of corona free of cost. On the very first day, the number of people taking the booster dose increased by more than 15 times. Till 6.30 pm on Friday, 12.99 lakh people got booster doses.
Let us inform you that people of this age group started giving booster doses on April 10. After this, only 78.11 lakh people got the dose in 96 days. It averaged 81,366 daily.
Corona speed doubles in 1 month in MP
Corona cases are increasing continuously in Madhya Pradesh. The positivity rate in the state has reached 3%. In the entire month of June, 1878 corona infections were found, so many have been found in 14 days of July. Indore is the most affected by the infection. Most cases were found in West Bengal for the second consecutive day
West Bengal has got the maximum number of corona cases across the country. The state is witnessing a steady increase in new cases. In the last 24 hours, 3067 new cases were found here and 5 people died. A day before this, 3029 cases were found.
Active cases in the state increased to 30,043, from 28,856 a day earlier. The number of cured patients is 1875 and the positivity rate was recorded at 19.54%.
Most deaths in Maharashtra
Maharashtra has the highest number of deaths in the country. In the last 24 hours, 2,371 cases of corona came here and 10 people died. The number of patients undergoing treatment in the state is 16 thousand and the positivity rate was recorded at 6.05%. A day ago, 2,229 new cases were registered here and 4 people lost their lives.
601 cases were reported in Delhi
On Friday, 601 new cases were reported in Delhi and the positivity rate was recorded at 3.64%. According to the Health Department, no one died due to the Kovid-19 epidemic on the last day.
