On April 9, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson arrived in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. Here he talked about helping Ukraine financially and military. After talks with Ukrainian President Zelensky, he also announced to give Ukraine a new anti-ship missile system with 120 armored vehicles. On 12 April, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson spoke to US President Joe Biden for about 45 minutes on this issue. During this, both the leaders talked about continuing help to Ukraine.

 

Four leaders of NATO countries arrived in Ukraine

 

On 13 April, four leaders of NATO countries arrived in the capital Kyiv to support Ukraine. These included leaders from Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, and Estonia. These leaders, who reached Kyiv by train, met President Zelensky and discussed humanitarian and military aid. Along with this, talks were also held regarding the investigation of military crime. Lithuanian President Jitanas Nauseda tweeted a photo with the other three leaders on his way to Kyiv to send a strong message of political support and military aid.

 

White House dismisses speculation about Biden's visit

 

After the visit of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, there was speculation that the US President may also visit Ukraine. On Wednesday, US media claimed that the Biden administration is considering sending a high-level delegation to Kyiv. This could be the President, Vice-President Kamala Harris, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, or Security Secretary Lloyd Austin. On Friday, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki dismissed reports of the president's visit to Ukraine. He said President Biden has no plans to visit Ukraine at the moment.

 

Biden is being criticized for not coming to Ukraine

 

Biden went on a tour of Europe last month. During this also there was speculation about him going to Ukraine. However, this did not happen. Ukraine's deputy prime minister also criticized Biden for not visiting Ukraine. He said that when Biden came to Europe, he should have come to Ukraine as well.
