Indian team's great batsman Sachin Tendulkar is on his first visit to Kashmir. Tendulkar enjoyed street cricket with the locals amidst the valleys of Gulmarg. Sachin Tendulkar, considered the 'Lord of Cricket' also visited Aman Setu Bridge. Apart from this, LOC was also visited in the Uri sector of Jammu and Kashmir.
During this time, Tendulkar also talked to the soldiers for a long time at the command post in front of Aman Setu. Earlier, the former Indian cricketer also visited the local bat factory and recalled that his sister Savita had given him his first bat made of Kashmir willow. In this way, Sachin Tendulkar showed his deep connection.
While sharing the video of his visit to MJ Sports bat factory on his social media account, Tendulkar said, "The first bat was given to me by my sister and it was a Kashmir willow bat. Now that I am here, I have to meet Kashmir Willow. Fun fact – some of my favorite bats are only 5-6 grains. How many grains are there in your bat?
"We were busy making bats when a car stopped at our doorstep," MJ Sports owner Mohammed Shaheen Parre told PTI. We were surprised to see Master Blaster and his family. He checked some strokes of the bat and was quite happy with the quality. Tendulkar said that he had come to compare the Kashmir willow bat with the English willow bat. We have requested them to lend their voice in support of the local BAT.
