Sachin Tendulkar was in tears after seeing his son playing in IPL, why is Arjun Tendulkar's first over special?

In the 25th match of IPL 2023, Mumbai Indians defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 14 runs. In this match, Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and decided to bowl first. Batting first, Mumbai scored 192 runs after the end of 20 overs.

 

In this match, the young players of Mumbai Indians showed their fire. Tilak Verma did wonders in batting and Arjun Tendulkar bowled brilliantly in bowling.

 

Arjun made his debut against KKR

 

Please tell that Arjun was playing his second match in IPL career. Arjun Tendulkar made his IPL debut against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday. Arjun gave 17 runs in two overs while playing against KKR.

 

Although he did not get any wicket in the debut match. Watching a son play in IPL is a memorable moment for every father. This moment was also very special for Arjun's father Sachin Tendulkar.

 

  Sachin got emotional after seeing his son playing in IPL

Father Sachin Tendulkar had tears in his eyes after seeing his son playing for the first time in IPL. Actually, this disclosure was made by former West Indies cricketer and commentator Ian Bishop. He said that when Arjun Tendulkar was in the field against KKR, the floor manager had spoken to Sachin.

 

Bishop said, “I will not take his (floor manager) name, but he said that the floor manager told me that Sachin had tears of joy when Arjun made his IPL debut. When I bowled for the first time in IPL, I also gave away five runs in my first over. Arjun also gave away five runs in his first over."

 

Bishop further said that Sachin may forget many innings of Arjun, but he will never forget the first over bowled by Arjun in IPL.

 

Arjun bowled brilliantly against Hyderabad

When Hyderabad needed 20 runs in the final over against Mumbai, captain Rohit gave the responsibility of bowling to young Arjun Tendulkar. Arjun also made good use of this opportunity.

 

Arjun not only helped the team win the match by bowling brilliantly in the last over but also took the first wicket of his IPL career. Arjun took the wicket of Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Arjun also took 1 wicket for just 6 runs in the last over.
