However, just two minutes after the break, Ibrahim Konate scored for Leeds to make it 1–2, but five minutes later, Liverpool took a two-goal lead again thanks to a Jota goal. After this Salah scored his 15th goal of the league. Jota and Nunez then scored for Liverpool.
Klopp told his best match
After the win, Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp termed the match as his best match of the season. On the other hand, the team of Leeds has become the team that scored the most goals in this season. There have been 60 goals against him so far. Eight days earlier they had been beaten 5–1 by Crystal Palace.
