Samsung is reportedly preparing to expand its Fan Edition smartphone lineup with a new affordable flagship, expected to be called the Galaxy S26 FE. Ahead of its anticipated launch, reports have revealed several details about the phone's display, processor, camera, battery and expected price.
The Galaxy S26 FE could reportedly launch in early September 2026. If the reported specifications are accurate, the smartphone could feature a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, an Exynos 2500 processor, a 50MP primary camera and 45W fast charging.
However, its expected price could become a concern for buyers. Reports suggest that the Galaxy S26 FE may be priced at around €799 in Europe, putting it close to the price of the standard Galaxy S26 after discounts in some markets.
Samsung Galaxy S26 FE Expected Specifications
The Galaxy S26 FE is expected to feature a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
According to the reported specifications, the display could offer brightness of up to 1,200 nits in normal mode and as high as 1,900 nits in high-brightness mode.
For performance, Samsung could equip the smartphone with its Exynos 2500 chipset. The device may be offered with up to 8GB of RAM, while storage options could include 128GB and 256GB.
The smartphone is also expected to have a slim design. Reports suggest it could measure approximately 7.4mm in thickness and weigh around 193 grams.
An IP68 rating is also expected, which would provide protection against dust and water. Possible colour options include Graphite, Pistachio and Blueberry.
Galaxy S26 FE Camera: 50MP Main Sensor Expected
Camera performance could be another major highlight of the Galaxy S26 FE.
The smartphone is expected to feature a triple rear camera setup, headlined by a 50MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilisation (OIS).
The setup could also include an ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture and an 8MP telephoto camera.
The telephoto lens is reportedly expected to support 3x optical zoom, potentially giving the phone an advantage for portrait and distant-subject photography.
For selfies and video calls, the Galaxy S26 FE could feature a 12MP front camera.
The rear camera system may support video recording at up to 8K at 30fps and 4K at 60fps, although these specifications remain unconfirmed until Samsung officially announces the device.
4,900mAh Battery and 45W Fast Charging
The Galaxy S26 FE could pack a 4,900mAh battery and support 45W wired fast charging.
Connectivity options are expected to include Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 6 and NFC. The phone may also support dual Nano-SIM connectivity, along with eSIM functionality.
Reports further suggest that the smartphone could ship with Android 17.
Samsung Galaxy S26 FE Expected Price
The biggest question surrounding the Galaxy S26 FE could be its pricing.
According to reports, Samsung may launch the phone at around €799 in Europe, which is approximately ₹88,000 when converted directly. The actual Indian price, however, could differ because of taxes, regional pricing and other factors.
If the reported European pricing is accurate, the Galaxy S26 FE could face strong competition from the standard Galaxy S26, particularly when discounts bring the flagship's effective price closer to the FE model.
This could make the pricing strategy an important factor in determining the Galaxy S26 FE's appeal.

Galaxy S26 FE: What to Expect
The Galaxy S26 FE could offer a combination of a high-refresh-rate AMOLED display, Exynos 2500 performance, a 50MP OIS camera, telephoto photography and 45W charging.
However, its expected €799 price tag could make the smartphone less attractive if the regular Galaxy S26 is available at a similar price after discounts.
