MP Rahul Gandhi appeared in the court on Tuesday in the ongoing case here on charges of making indecent remarks against Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The court granted bail to the Congress leader who appeared amid heavy security.
Rahul Gandhi had reached Sultanpur court to appear in the defamation case of 2018. Sultanpur MP MLA court granted him bail and he left for Amethi. It is noteworthy that Rahul Gandhi is staying in Amethi these days. Rahul Gandhi is engaged in helping the people of Uttar Pradesh through Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra.

After this, summons were issued thrice to appear. On the last appearance date (January 18), senior advocate Kashi Prasad Shukla had filed the Vakalatnama on behalf of Rahul.
