In Haryana, on the first Monday of the month of Sawan, there was a queue of Shiva devotees in the temples since morning. Devotees are reaching the temples to offer prayers. Devotees who were deprived of worship in the month of Sawan for two years due to Corona are worshiping this time with full rituals. Special arrangements have been made for the devotees at Shambhu Dayal Temple in Sonepat, Geeta Bhawan Temple at Model Town, Shiv Mandir at Jatwara, Shiv Mandir at Murthal Road, Rai Shiva Temple, Shiva Temple at Sevli, etc. The crowd of devotees has gathered since morning.

This year, there will be four Mondays, two Pradosh, and one monthly Shivaratri fast in the month of Sawan. The holy Shravan month will end on the 12th of August full moon. The first Monday of the month will be 18th July, the second Monday 25th July, the third Monday 1st August, last fourth Monday 8th August.
