US Senator Chuck Schumer has requested President Joe Biden to set aside India's share in the 80 million doses of vaccine being given to various countries. In a letter to Biden, Schumer said that India had previously helped the US by sending PPE kits in times of need.

I want to tell you that out of the 80 million doses, put aside the vaccine for India's share, which is to be given to it in the next few months.
