Shivamogga Violence: BJP MLA said - Congress is supporting anti-nationals, only BJP for Hindutva

Posted on 17th Aug 2022 02:33 pm by rohit kumar

The violence that broke out in Karnataka's Shivamogga on August 15 has taken completely political color. From here BJP MLA KS Eshwarappa has made a big allegation about the Congress. He has said that Congress is supporting anti-national organizations like PFI and SDPI not only in Shivamogga and not only in the South but all over India.

KS Eshwarappa said, only Narendra Modi and BJP are needed to protect Hindutva in this Hindutva country. As far as the violence is concerned, the police have arrested the accused and sent him to jail, he said. The government and police officials have brought the situation under control, he said. Schools and colleges were closed till yesterday, but they have reopened today.

There was a ruckus over the banner

Shivamogga police said that a group of Tipu Sultan's followers tried to remove Veer Savarkar's banner on August 15 to put up Tipu Sultan's banner in the city's Amir Ahmed circle. This caused an uproar. Section 144 has been imposed immediately. The police also had to resort to a mild lathi charge. Savarkar was a Hindutva ideologue, while Tipu Sultan was the 18th-century Mysore ruler. During a clash between two communities over the banner, a youth named Prem Singh was stabbed.

control the youth

MLA Eshwarappa had said on Tuesday that I appeal to the senior people of Muslim society to control the youth of their community involved in anti-national activities. If Hindu society rises then neither such activities will take place nor will the anti-nationals survive. He also said that we want to ban SDPI and PFI in the state. We are waiting for what the central government does in this matter.
