Shivnath Express: Shivnath Express derailed in Chhattisgarh, Railways said - no one was injured in the accident

A train accident happened in Chhattisgarh on Tuesday morning. Shivnath Express has derailed in Dongargarh. According to the news agency, 5 coaches of Shivnath Express have derailed.

 

It is being told that this accident happened when the train was going to Nagpur in Maharashtra. Railway officials said that no one was injured in the accident. The cause of the accident could not be ascertained. As soon as the news of the accident was received, top railway officials reached the spot and started relief and rescue operations.

5 coaches of Shivnath Express derailed

 

Railway officials said that five wheels of two trolleys derailed next to the engine of the train at Dongargarh yard at 3:42 pm last night. He told that the train was going from Korba in Chhattisgarh to Itwari in Nagpur.

Officials said that no one was injured in the accident. Food and snacks were provided to the passengers. He said that relief trains from Gondia and Itwari have been sent to the accident site. The affected coaches were removed and then the train left for Rajnandgaon and Itwari, the official said.

 

Second accident in 12 hours

 

Let us tell you that this is the second train accident in the last 12 hours. Earlier, an accident took place near Bhubaneswar railway station last night as well. Five coaches of a Vizianagaram-bound goods train derailed. According to sources, the accident took place at around 8.35 pm, when the train was on its way from Chakradharpur division to Vizianagaram via Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. The movement of many trains has been affected after this accident.
