The familiar caller tune with the voice of Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan will not be heard from today. Actually, whenever you call someone, before connecting, a caller tune is heard warning citizens about cyber crime, after which the ring goes to that person. If you are also upset with this, then let us tell you that now you will not hear this tune from today.

The caller tune will not be heard from today.

The government has reportedly decided to withdraw the caller tune as the campaign it was a part of officially ended on June 26. According to a report by NDTV, now that the campaign is over, the Government of India has decided to discontinue the caller tune as well.

This pre-recorded message is used to make you aware to be alert to cyber fraud. It was part of a government-run awareness initiative aimed at educating the public about the growing threat of online scams.

Some users had complained.

However, over time many people expressed their disappointment about this tune on social media. Some users also complained that the caller tune causes unnecessary delay in getting the call connected during emergency situations. Some people also trolled Amitabh Bachchan for his long message while criticizing him.

A few days ago, Big B had silenced an X (formerly known as Twitter) user for trolling him for the viral caller tune in his voice. The actor shared a random post on his X handle which read, "Ji haan huzoor, main bhi ek syaan puchhta hai. So??"

Amitabh Bachchan had replied.

Reacting to this, a user replied, "So phone par bolna chor karo bhai." Big B also decided to put an end to the ongoing discussion about the caller tune once and for all. To this, he replied, "Sarkar ko bolo bhai, unne humse kaha so kiya."

On the work front, Big B will be next seen in Section 84 which will feature Nimrat Kaur, Diana Penty, Abhishek Banerjee, and others alongside him. Apart from this, he also has the second installment of Brahmastra and Kalki 2898 AD in the pipeline.
