The blast in front of the Red Fort in Delhi has shaken the entire nation. Police are on high alert in several cities, including Delhi and Mumbai. This explosion occurred at a time when police had seized 2,900 kilograms of RDX in Faridabad, adjacent to Delhi. The powerful blast in Delhi immediately following this has raised many questions.

 

 

According to Delhi Police sources, the car blast in front of the Red Fort may also have a connection to the Faridabad module. The driver of the car has been identified as Umar Mohammad, a doctor by profession and a resident of Pulwama.

What clues did the initial investigation reveal?

 

After the initial investigation, the police suspect that ammonium nitrate, fuel oil, and detonators were used in the blast. However, a definitive statement on this matter can only be made after the full report is released.

 

 

According to police sources,

 

The Delhi blast is suspected to have links to the Faridabad module, where police recovered 360 kilograms of ammonium nitrate. Final reports have not yet been released.

Police have checked CCTV cameras from the blast site. In these, Umar, the driver, is seen wearing a mask. Following the blast, police across Delhi are on high alert. Nine people were killed and 20 were injured in the blast.

 

 

Just hours before the Delhi blast, Jammu and Kashmir Police busted a 360 kg explosives cache in Faridabad. Police arrested eight people, including three doctors, and recovered 2,900 kg of RDX from them.
