Ghaziabad, Jan 27 (IANS) Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama Tuesday urged students to spread the message of peace and prosperity through their actions.

Speaking at the DAV Public School here in Sahibabad, he said India is a great country because of its cultural diversity, and the new generation is the future hope of this great country.

He exhorted the students to be scientists, doctors and economists.

"Through meditation this country's young generation is capable of leading the world," said Dalai Lama while interacting with the students of the school that had invited him as chief guest.
