After Gujarat, now Madhya Pradesh Education Board has also canceled the 12th board exam. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced this on Wednesday. Earlier, because of the situation of Corona, the Gujarat government had taken this decision after a meeting. Education Minister Bhupendra Singh Chudasama gave this information.

Earlier, the central government had canceled the CBSE 12th examinations. Now the eyes are on the boards of other states, which have not been decided yet. If we look from the point of view of CBSE, before the decision on this, 20 states wanted examinations, but with conditions. It is believed that the states can also decide on their board's 12th examination in a day or two.

Decision soon in UP, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, and Madhya Pradesh

Uttar Pradesh: After CBSE and ICSE, now the UP Board 12th exam can also be canceled. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath can announce this soon. If this happens, for the first time 26 lakh students of class 12th will pass without taking the exam. This will be the first time in the history of the board. Deputy CM Dinesh Sharma has also pointed this out. Earlier, the UP Board has canceled the 10th examination.

Madhya Pradesh: State School Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar said that a decision will be taken on Wednesday regarding the 12th examination of the MP Board. MP Board 10th exam was already canceled in Madhya Pradesh. While the decision to declare the date of the 12th examination was going to be taken soon, but after the cancellation of the CBSE 12th examination, now the MP Board will also consider the examination.

Rajasthan: There are 21 lakh students of class 10th and 12th in the state. The decision of their exam will be taken in the cabinet meeting of the Rajasthan government on Wednesday. The Directorate of Secondary Education and the Board of Secondary Education have submitted eight to ten proposals in this regard to the government. CBSE board exams have also been canceled in the state. Due to this, 65 thousand students of about 700 schools of Rajasthan got relief. There are about 11 lakh students of class 10th in Rajasthan, while there are 10 lakh students of class 12th.

Maharashtra: State Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad has said that undoubtedly the 12th examinations are an important stage in a student's life. But in the current situation, the physical and mental health of our children should be given priority. Maharashtra government has been demanded a non-examination rule for class 12 students. The state will soon take a final decision on the examination keeping in mind the safety of the children. However, according to the schedule, the 12th class exam was to start from 23rd April and the 10th class exam from 29th April. More than 16 lakh students are waiting for the exam in the state.

What was the suggestion of the states regarding the examination?

A few days ago, the states had sent their suggestions to the central government regarding the 12th examination. Of these, 12 states said that only 3-4 papers of short duration should be taken. 8 states including Delhi, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Rajasthan said that all students should be given the vaccine before the examination or the examination should be canceled. However, after the decision on CBSE, it is believed that most of the states will adopt the same pattern in their board exams as well because the states had said the same thing while giving the suggestion.

Delhi had suggested that if the center can arrange for the Pfizer vaccine, which is being administered to children above the age of 12, then all children can be tested post-vaccination. Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Kerala, Meghalaya, Arunachal, Tamil Nadu, and Rajasthan also suggested vaccines before the exam.

Maharashtra had also talked about online examinations. UP, Jammu and Kashmir, Gujarat, Assam, Himachal, Chandigarh, Sikkim, Punjab, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Bihar, and Odisha wanted only the main subjects to be tested and the duration was reduced.

Take the exams in your school. Karnataka, Puducherry agreed to adopt the same pattern after the decision on CBSE.

Uttar Pradesh had said that if the consensus is reached, they will also declare the results after conducting the state board examinations in a month.

Haryana had prepared for the offline examination at home from June 15 to 20, in Chhattisgarh from June 1 to 5. But, the final decision is yet to be taken.
