Sunil Chhetri played his 150th international match against Afghanistan in Guwahati. However, India had to face defeat by 1-2 in this match.

 

Chhetri is the world's number-3 scorer

Sunil Chhetri made his debut for India in the year 2005. Chhetri scored 94 goals while playing for India. He is India's all-time top scorer. At the same time, he is in third place in the list of goal scorers after Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
