Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra has reached Haryana. This will be the second phase of the yatra in Haryana. However, Rahul Gandhi's stay in Panipat has been canceled. He had to stay in a tent house built at Sanauli Khurd village on the Uttar Pradesh-Haryana border. Confirming this, Rajya Sabha MP Deepender Hooda said that this decision has been taken due to Sonia Gandhi's ill health.
This is the second phase of the yatra in Haryana. He will go from Panipat to Karnal, Kurukshetra, and Ambala. After this, will enter Punjab on 10th January. In the first phase, he covered Nuh (Mewat), Faridabad, and Gurugram districts.

DC Sushil Sarwan has invoked section 144 in Panipat regarding his security because of the yatra from the 5th to the 7th of January. As per the order, within a 1-kilometer radius of Rahul Gandhi's yatra, it has been temporarily declared a red zone till January 7 with immediate effect, in which no unmanned flying vehicle (drone, etc.) can fly in this radius. But the ban will remain. If any person is found guilty of disobeying the above orders, legal action will be taken against him under section 188.
