Struggle in Parliament: PM Modi was welcomed with 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai', the opposition raised the slogan of 'Jai Kisan'

On the first day of the winter session, there was a loud ruckus in the Parliament and there were a lot of slogans from the ruling party and the opposition. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was greeted with thumping of tables and slogans of 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' as he entered the Lok Sabha Hall on the first day of the winter session. In response, the members of the opposition raised slogans of 'Jai Kisan'.

 

 

Amidst the uproar, the agriculture law withdrawal bill passed

The Lok Sabha later passed the Agricultural Laws Withdrawal Bill, 2021 amid an uproar by the opposition members. However, the opposition members were demanding discussion on the draft law and the issue of farmers. The Prime Minister reached the Lok Sabha a few minutes before the commencement of the proceedings of the House. When the Prime Minister enters the House on the first day of the Parliament session, it is common for the BJP and its allies to greet him with slogans.

 

 

The government on target of opposition

At the same time, the opposition targeted the central government regarding this. AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi said that fearing political loss ahead of the assembly elections, the government has repealed agricultural laws. A large group in the country is saying that CAA is a violation of Article 14 of the Constitution. We demand that the Center repeal the Citizenship (Amendment) Act as well.
