Student trapped below 300 feet after falling from Nandi Hills, Air Force saved life with the help of a helicopter

The wonders of the Indian Air Force are often seen. But today the Air Force has done something that everyone is praising after seeing it. The Indian Air Force and Chikkaballapur Police rescued a 19-year-old student from Nandi Hills in Karnataka on Sunday evening. According to the information, the student was trapped after falling 300 feet from a cliff.

IAF used a Mi17 helicopter to rescue student Nishank. According to PRO Defence, the District Collector of Chikballabhpur approached Air Force Station Yelahanka with an SOS message that a young trekker had slipped and fell 300 feet at Brahmagiri Rocks in Nandi Hills. Thereafter, the IAF immediately launched a Mi 17 helicopter and after a thorough search rescued the trapped student.

 

The rescue operation lasted for 5 hours

 

According to the information received, even after the help of the helicopter, it took about 5 hours to save Nishank. The IAF along with the local police completed the operation. Please tell that after saving the student safely, he was given medical treatment, after which he was admitted to the civil hospital.
