New Delhi, Feb 13 (IANS) External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will visit Oman from Feb 17-18, the external affairs ministry said Friday.
This would be Sushma Swaraj's third visit to the Gulf after her visit to Bahrain in September and United Arab Emirates in November last year, external affairs spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin told the media here.
"India and Oman have a very robust relationship and Indians are the largest expatriate community in Oman," he said.
The external affairs minister would hold discussions on security, defence and people to people contact between the two countries.
Giving details on the security issues, Akbaruddin said anti-piracy operations and cyber-crime are major areas of interest for both India and Oman.
