Jio's network down: Problems in Jio's network from 9.30 am, call-internet users upset; no comment from company

Reliance Jio network is down. There are problems regarding the network since around 9 am on Wednesday, which have not been corrected yet. Due to this thousands of Jio customers are getting upset. Customers are neither able to make calls nor have internet access. However, till now no clarification has come from Jio in this matter. Sources associated with the company said that Jio's service has not been interrupted across the country. Jio's service has been down only in some states. The company's technical team is working to correct it and it will be corrected soon.

 

There are complaints about problems in Jio's network from different parts of the country. People of states like Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka are getting more troubled. After these problems in Jio's network, #jiodown started trending on Twitter within a few minutes.

 

So far, there have been about 5 and a half thousand tweets regarding the complaint of the network with this hashtag. Before Jio, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram were also down for 6 hours late on Monday night. This is the second case within three days.

 

Reliance Industries shares fell more than 1%

The impact of the news of Jio's network down is being seen on the stock of Reliance. The stock of Reliance Industries is trading with a fall of more than 1% on the NSE.

 

44.32 crore users of Jio across the country

 

According to TRAI, the total number of mobile users of Jio in July 2021 is 443.2 million, Airtel has 35.40 million subscribers and Vodafone-Idea has 2719 million subscribers.

 

No signal message on the screen of 40% of users

 

According to real-time information provider Downdetector, thousands of Jio users are facing network-related problems. 4 thousand people have complained so far. No signal message is coming on the screen of 40% of these.

Earlier on Monday, the services of Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram were down for several hours. This was the first time that the service of all three social media platforms across the world remained closed for hours.
