India beat Sri Lanka by 6 wickets in the third and final T20I to clean sweep the 3-match series. Team India had a target of 147 runs, which the team achieved in a one-sided fashion by losing the first 4 wickets in 19 balls. Shreyas Iyer (69), who scored three fifties in 3 matches, was the top scorer. This is India's 12th consecutive win in this format.
Earlier, winning the toss and playing first, Sri Lanka scored 146/5. At one point the team's score was 60/5, after which Dasun Shanaka and Chamika Karunaratne added an unbeaten 86 to take the team to a respectable score. Captain Dasun Shanaka, who scored an unbeaten 74, was the top scorer. Avesh Khan took 2 wickets for India.
Team India showed strength again
Chasing the target, India had a poor start and in the second over, Dushmanta Chamira dismissed Rohit Sharma (5). Rohit got a lifeline before getting out. For the second wicket, Sanju Samson and Shreyas Iyer added 45 runs in 28 balls while handling the innings. Samson (18), who had caught his eye, scored runs and gave his wicket to Karunaratne.
Iyer along with Deepak Hooda added 38 runs for the third wicket. Hooda, who was seen in rhythm, scored 21 runs off 16 balls and was bowled by Lahiru Kumara. In the very next over, Shreyas completed his third consecutive fifty in the series with a six. Venkatesh Iyer (5) was dismissed for Kumara's delivery.
After this, the man in the form of Shreyas Iyer and Ravindra Jadeja did not give any chance to Sri Lanka. Both added 45 not out to give India a grand victory. Jadeja played an unbeaten 22 off 15 balls. Iyer did amazing batting in all three matches of the series and scored 204 runs in 3 innings. He was awarded Man of the Match and Man of the Series.

Apart from this, Romania has won 12 matches in a row, but they do not have the status of playing Test cricket.
Sri Lanka made a respectable score
Batting first, Sri Lanka started poorly and on the last ball of the first over, Mohammad Siraj bowled Danushka Gunathilak (0). In the very next over, Avesh Khan dismissed Pathum Nisanka (1), who scored a fifty in the previous match. Avesh broke the back of the visiting team by taking the wicket of Charith Aslanka (4) in his very next over. Aslanka was caught by wicketkeeper Sanju Samson.
Ravi Bishnoi, who returned to playing XI, clean bowled Zenith Liyanage (9) on his googly. Dasun Shanaka and Dinesh Chandimal added 31 runs in 21 balls for the 5th wicket to bring the team back on track, but then Harshal Patel dismissed Chandimal (25) and sent half of the Sri Lankan team to the pavilion.
Shanaka and Karunaratne added an unbeaten 86 off 46 balls for the sixth wicket after losing 5 for 60. Captain Shanaka completed his fifty off 29 balls while batting brilliantly and returned unbeaten on 74. Chamika Karunaratne also returned unbeaten on 12 off 19 balls.
Rohit Sharma (125) became the player to play the most matches in T20Is.
Danushka Gunathilak got out for a duck for the second time in T20Is.
