Venkatesh Iyer, who was fielding during the third T20 match played between India and Sri Lanka in Dharamsala, was hit on the private part of the ball. Even in pain, Iyer took the catch of Sri Lankan wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Chandimal. After this, he rolled twice and sat on the ground. All this was caught on camera, which is now going viral on social media.

Harshal Patel was bowling in the 13th over of the Sri Lankan innings. Chandimal played a hard shot and the ball went straight to Venkatesh standing on point and hit the ball directly on his private part. After that, he started moaning in pain. After a short break, he agreed to play again. When Iyer took the catch, the reaction of bowler Harshal Patel was very amazing. It seemed that he could feel Iyer's pain.

Venkatesh could not do wonders with the bat

Venkatesh came to bat at number 5 in the match and could not show much, he got out after scoring 5 runs in just 4 balls. However, the player did well in the series against West Indies and the last two matches against Sri Lanka.

India beat Sri Lanka in the third T20 as well

India beat Sri Lanka by 6 wickets in the third and final T20I to clean sweep the 3-match series. Team India had a target of 147 runs, which the team achieved in a one-sided fashion by losing the first 4 wickets in 19 balls. Shreyas Iyer (69), who scored three fifties in 3 matches, was the top scorer. This is India's 12th consecutive win in this format.
