Agneepath Scheme: Defense and Home Minister's appeal amid ruckus over Agneepath scheme, Rahul took a jibe

The ruckus continues over the Agneepath scheme. The fire of violence has spread in 11 states. From UP-Bihar and Haryana to Telangana, students are protesting violently by taking to the road. Trains have been set on fire at many places, while railway stations have been vandalized. Meanwhile, the Home Minister and Defense Minister of the country have appealed to the students to maintain peace, while Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has taunted the Modi government over the plan.

Rajnath said - youth should start preparing

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has asked the youth to maintain peace and start their preparations amidst heavy uproar. He has said that the process of recruitment in the army is going to start in a few days. I heartily thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his concern and sensitivity towards the future of the youth. Due to a lack of recruitment process in the army for the last two years, many youths could not get the opportunity to join the army. Therefore, keeping in mind the future of the youth, the government has increased the age limit for the recruitment of Agniveers from 21 years to 23 years this time. This will enable a lot of youth to become eligible to become Agniveer.

Youth will be benefited- Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah's statement has come to the fore amid the growing ruckus over the Agneepath scheme. He said that a large number of youth would be benefitted from this scheme and they would move towards the service of the country and their bright future. He further said, for the last two years, due to the corona epidemic, the recruitment process in the army was affected, so Prime Minister Narendra Modi, worrying about those youths in the 'Agneepath Yojana', gave them a concession of two years in the age limit for the first year from 21 years. The sensitive decision to turn 23 has been taken.

PM does not understand what people want: Rahul Gandhi

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi criticized the government on Twitter amid the uproar over the Agneepath scheme for the third day. He wrote, "Agneepath - rejected by youth, agricultural law - rejected by farmers, demonetization - rejected by economists, GST - rejected by traders." The Prime Minister does not understand what the people of the country want. Because they do not hear anything except the voice of their 'friends'.
