However, due to a lack of oxygen, the situation remains very serious. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal appealed to the Central Government to provide oxygen to hospitals in the capital immediately. He said that only a few hours of oxygen remained in some hospitals in Delhi.

 

 

CM Kejriwal said- "There is a serious oxygen crisis in Delhi. I again appeal to the Central Government to provide oxygen to Delhi. In some hospitals, there are only a few hours of oxygen left."

 

Sisodia said - Jungle raj should not be between states on oxygen

 

 

Whereas, on the other hand, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia asked the Central Government to take steps regarding this. Sisodia said that oxygen is not being allowed to reach other states.

 

 

He said - SOS phones are coming from all hospitals regarding oxygen. People supplying are being stopped in different states. There should be no jungle raj between states on the supply of oxygen, for this, the central government will have to be very sensitive and active.

 

Death toll rising in Delhi

 

 

On Monday, 240 people died due to Coronavirus infection in Delhi, which is the highest number of deaths in one day from the infection since the epidemic started. With this, 23,686 new cases of infection occurred in the capital, due to which the rate of infection has gone up to 26.12 percent. In the city, 823 people have died due to infection in the last five days. On Sunday, 25,462 new cases of infection were reported in Delhi, which was the highest number of cases in a single day, and in this way, the infection rate had gone up to 29.74 percent.

 

 

 

 

 

Delhi government built hospital in Commonwealth Village

 

 

After the shortage of beds in the hospitals of the capital Delhi, the Delhi government has now taken a big step. Delhi government has built a hospital in the Commonwealth Village. There are 436 beds available in this hospital. Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia himself has given information about this.
