'The Kapil Sharma Show' has become the most talked-about but controversial show on television. Recently there are reports that Kapil has refused to invite the director of Kashmir Files Vivek Agnihotri on the show. Sunil Grover: Sunil was an integral part of Comedy Nights with Kapil and The Kapil Sharma Show but things went haywire in 2017 when he got into a fight with Kapil. According to media reports, both of them had gone on a tour of Australia, from where Kapil abused Sunil and killed him by throwing his slippers while returning. After this Sunil left Kapil's show and never returned.
Upasana Singh: Upasana Singh, who played the role of aunt in Comedy Nights with Kapil, has also left the show long back. He had denied the news of any quarrel with Kapil citing the reason behind it but said, I worked with Kapil in a few episodes but then I realized that I have to do something which gives me creative satisfaction, right? That I should come and stay in a show for a few minutes. Kapil and I share a good relationship and I hope he will someday write a role for me that will satisfy me as an actor.
Ali Asghar: You must have seen Ali Asghar in the role of Dadi in the show but Ali also left the show after the Kapil-Sunil feud and never returned to it. Ali had said about this, I worked for a long time but after a while, I felt that now I should go ahead with this show because I had some creative differences with Kapil. My character was not going anywhere and was stuck in one place, so I felt that there was no scope for creative improvement and I left the show.
Sugandha Mishra: Sugandha entered the show after Sunil Grover's leave but then she said, after Sunil Grover Ji left the show, there were many changes in the format and we were not called again. I was going with the flow but after that, my journey in the show got braked.
Navjot Singh Sidhu: Sidhu used to be a special guest in Kapil's show and used to entertain everyone with his poetry. After the Pulwama attack in 2019, a comment by Sidhu sparked such a controversy that his demand for a boycott sparked and as a result, he had to leave the show. Now Archana Puran Singh is seen in her place in the show.
