The lowest number of new cases have been reported after 74 days. At the same time, after 66 days, India's active caseload has come down to 10 lakhs. The recovery rate in India has increased to 95.43 percent.

There has been a decrease in new cases of corona in the country as compared to earlier. According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry, 70,421 new cases have been reported in India in the last 24 hours while 3,921 people have died due to infection. With this, 2,95,10,410 people have been infected in India, and out of this 3,74,305 people have lost their lives due to corona infection.

At the same time, active cases in the country have come down to one million. The active caseload has come down below the 10 lakh mark after 66 days. At present, there are 9,73,158 active cases in India, ie those patients who are undergoing treatment. Out of those infected since the beginning of the corona epidemic, 2,81,62,947 people have been cured of corona infection and 1,19,501 patients have been cured in the last 24 hours. With this, the rate of recovery from infection in the country has gone up to 95.43 percent. According to the data released by the Ministry of Health, there has been a continuous decrease in the cases of corona in India for the last few days.

It is clear from these figures that the cases of corona infection are decreasing every day. At the same time, the weekly positivity rate is 4.54 percent while the daily positivity rate is 4.72 percent today. The positivity rate is less than 10 percent for 21 consecutive days. According to the Ministry of Health, there has been a decrease in the weekly positivity rate for the last 35 days.

12.03% on May 25

9.36% on May 30

7.27% on 4 June

5.66% on June 9

4.54% on June 14

All these figures are indicating that the second wave of corona infection in India has weakened and the pace of infection has slowed down. But if precautions are not taken in the meantime and Covid Appropriate Behavior is not followed, then it will not take time for the situation to worsen. Therefore, it is necessary to wear masks, avoid going in crowds, keep washing hands, follow social distancing and get the vaccine.
