Kanpur, April 13 (IANS) Senior BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi Sunday said there was no Modi wave but only a BJP wave.
"Modi is a representative of the BJP as its prime ministerial candidate. He gets support from the party and its leaders across the country," Joshi told the media here when asked if there was a wave in favour of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.
Joshi said the Gujarat model would not be implemented as the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) model if the BJP-led NDA wins the Lok Sabha election.
Joshi said the decision to deny ticket to former BJP leader Jaswant Singh from Barmer constituency was not a collective one.
"The decision ... did not come for the discussion," said Joshi, adding the matter could have been handled differently.
