Talking about his resolution, Vikram Pratap Singh told ANI, "I have given up shoes after starting Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra from October 28 last year. Have traveled more than 1200 kms
Vikram Pratap Singh further said, "I joined this yatra from Burhanpur in Madhya Pradesh and have reached Panipat in Haryana barefoot. I have walked more than 1200 kilometers in two and a half months." Singh continues to walk barefoot despite foot problems and credits Congress MP Rahul Gandhi for his inspiration. "When I see Rahul Gandhi traveling it motivates me and motivates me to walk more despite the pain," Singh said.

Vikram Pratap Singh, a native of Madhya Pradesh, wants to complete the journey to Srinagar barefoot.
