The Rajasthan Royals will have Rs 62 crore in their purse for the IPL 2022 auction. The Rajasthan franchise has retained Sanju Samson (14 crores), Jos Buttler (10 crores), and Yashasvi Jaiswal (4 crores). After this, which players will be bought by the team, it will be a matter to be seen. Ahead of the auction, Rajasthan Royals team captain Sanju Samson says that they want to prepare the team for the next 5-6 years.

 

Sanju Samson said in the official press release, “This auction is really important, as we know that we can build our base for the next 5-6 years. So, we have tried to track everyone and do as many as possible during the trial. We have made sure to give more players a chance. We now aim to target people who align with our vision and who can imbibe our values ​​and help put our team back on top."

 

Through a special technology, Rajasthan Royals has collected data of about 2000 players, out of which some players will be the target of the team. The team's director of cricket, Kumar Sangakkara, said, "Our analytical assessments are detailed, from the information we collect on players to integrating them into a central database. We further filter the data backed with a robust analytical process. It's a very comprehensive process."
