'This time the bullet will go right through his head,' Iran now threatens to kill Trump.

The verbal war between the US and Iran has reached a dangerous point due to American interference in the ongoing protests in Iran. Trump's threats are having no effect on Iran. On the contrary, Iran has threatened to kill Trump.

Following US President Trump's warning of possible military action against the Iranian leadership, Iranian state television broadcast footage containing a death threat against Trump. The footage showed an image of the assassination attempt on Trump in Pennsylvania, with the caption in Persian reading, "This time the target will not be missed."

The Threatening Poster

In the footage broadcast on Iranian state television, a young man is seen holding a poster of Trump, who is threatening Iran, during a ceremony for Iranian security personnel killed during the protests. The poster refers to the assassination attempt on Trump at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, in 2024. Trump narrowly escaped the attack. The poster also implies that this time the target will not be missed, unlike the previous attempt.

It is noteworthy that the footage broadcast on Iranian state television shows the assassination attempt on Trump during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where a gunman named Thomas Crooks shot at Trump. Fortunately, the shot missed, and the bullet grazed his ear.

The video was broadcast on the Islamic Republic of Iran News Network (IRINN) during the funeral ceremony for more than 100 members of the security forces and others killed during the recent protests in Tehran, who were declared "martyrs" by the authorities. Attendees at the ceremony held banners reading "Death to America!" while others carried pictures of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Iran Vows to Kill Trump

Iran's name has previously been linked to assassination plots abroad. After ordering the assassination of General Qassem Soleimani, head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' Quds Force, in January 2020, Iran has repeatedly vowed to kill Trump.

According to the U.S. Justice Department, an Iran-directed plot to assassinate Trump was thwarted in 2024 following the arrest of Farhad Sheikhi, who court documents allege was tasked by Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps with carrying out the assassination.
