Today Rain Alert: Monsoon has become active once again. Many areas of Delhi-NCR have recorded rain this morning. People facing the scorching heat have got a slight respite from the heat. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert for the hilly states including UP, Haryana, and Uttarakhand today. The Meteorological Department had predicted on the previous day that the rainy season would start once again in the hilly areas including Delhi-NCR.

Most of the states including Uttarakhand have already faced floods and landslides due to heavy rains. In such a situation, a yellow and orange alert has also been issued by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) for such states.

During this, heavy rains are expected in many districts of Haryana including Bijnor, Khatauli, Sakoti Tanda, Hastinapur, Chandpur, Baraut, Daurala, Meerut, Modinagar.

 

There will be rain in these states till August 21

 

Southwest Monsoon has once again become active in North India. After about two weeks, an alert was issued to start raining again from today i.e. August 19. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy to very heavy rains are expected at isolated places in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand till August 21. Not only this, but the rainy season is also prevailing in Bihar and for the past few days, it is raining every day in different areas. According to the Meteorological Department, rain is expected in Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and West Uttar Pradesh till August 20-21. At the same time, heavy rain may occur at some places of Bihar on August 20- 22.

At the same time, there is a rain alert in Madhya Pradesh till August 20. Here a warning of heavy rain has been issued in 21 districts with thunderstorms. Not only this, a yellow alert has been issued for them. The Meteorological Department said that there is a thunderstorm in Sagar, Chhatarpur, Damoh, Tikamgarh, Panna, Niwari, Rewa, Satna, Anuppur, Umaria, Dindori, Katni, Chhindwara, Seoni, Rajgarh, Vidisha, Raisen, Hoshangabad, Betul, Dhar, and Narsinghpur districts. Heavy rain may occur. At the same time, in 10 divisions of the state including the capital Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, and Jabalpur, rain or thundershowers are expected to occur at most places.
