Coronavirus: Investigation of 32 who came in contact with Corona infected youth who returned from America, sent samples for genome sequencing

Samples have been taken to test the corona of 32 who came in contact with a corona-infected youth who returned from America. The Health Department team has identified 93 people, and after screening them, samples will be taken if symptoms of corona are found. Corona was confirmed on Tuesday in a 34-year-old youth who returned to his home in Dayalbagh from America along with his wife on December 30.

 

Took samples of 32 people who came in contact

CMO Dr. Arun Srivastava told that samples of five people including his wife, and parents were taken in the primary contact of Corona-infected youth. Along with this, samples of 32 people who came in contact with the apartment along with those working in the house have been taken. 93 people have been identified. Samples from the private lab have been sent to KGMU Lucknow for genome sequencing.

 

The genome sequencing report of the young man who returned from China did not come

Three new cases of corona have been found. Samples were sent to KGMU Lucknow for genome sequencing to check which variant these three have been infected with.

 

Samples of the youth returned from China were sent for genome sequencing on December 26 but the report has not yet come. Star hotels will give details of foreign tourists, and the team will investigate On Monday, the Health Department team went to take samples of foreign tourists staying in Star hotels, but the hotel management did not allow them to take samples.

 

Hotel operators ready to give samples of foreign tourists

CMO Dr. Arun Srivastava told that now the hotel operators are ready, they will give details of foreign tourists staying in the hotel. The health department team will go to collect the sample after informing the hotel manager.
