Lucknow, . UP LockDown Day-11 The beneficiaries of the Prime Minister Ujjwala Gas Scheme will not have to wait for free gas cylinders in the ongoing lockdown during the Corona virus infection. The wait for all these is over. Money will be sent to the accounts of all these beneficiaries today. Under the Ujjwala free LPG gas cylinder scheme, now the beneficiary will be given the price of gas. Gas money will be sent to his account. The scheme will be applicable to 14.2 kg cylinders till June 30.
From today, the central government will deposit money to buy cylinders in the account of Prime Minister Ujjwala scheme, after which beneficiaries can book their cylinders. The second cylinder will be booked after 15 days. In order to facilitate people from lockdown due to corona virus infection, the Petroleum Ministry has prepared guidelines to provide gas cylinders to Ujjwala gas beneficiaries for three months free. Under these rules, if the consumer was sent money to buy a gas cylinder in April and did not buy a cylinder, then advance would not be sent to the other gas cylinder in his bank account.
After transferring the money to the bank account, the oil companies will inform every beneficiary by SMS that they can book their gas cylinder. For the second gas cylinder, money will be sent to the accounts of the beneficiaries on May 2, for which the beneficiaries are unable to take the gas cylinder in the meantime, they can avail this facility till 31 March 2021. All the beneficiaries should update the mobile numbers at their respective gas agencies. So that they are kept informed from time to time.
After transferring the money to the bank account, the public sector oil companies will inform the beneficiary by SMS that he can now book his gas. The full price of the cylinder will be sent on May 2 for the second cylinder. Ujjwala beneficiary can use Advance 31 March 2021. The ministry says that most Ujjwala beneficiaries' mobile numbers are not registered. In such a situation, they will get an opportunity to get mobile updates. It will be the responsibility of the gas agency to identify the beneficiary and upload the mobile. If the SMS of the beneficiary is deposited in the bank account on mobile, then he can go to the gas agency privately and book the order.
In view of the corona virus epidemic, the first government has started sending the amount of free gas cylinders to the bank account of the BPL holder under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala scheme from April 1. This facility is to be extended from April 1 to June 30 to 20. There should be an interval of 15 days between two refills. The BPL's Ujjwala consumer will not lift the first installment of the gas cylinder, the second installment will not come. Mobile number of many consumers of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana has been discontinued, in such a situation, the consumer should start his mobile number so that the difficulties of refilling bookings are not faced. Consumers can pay from their account under Paytm, Bhima App, or any Digital India.
Once the money is credited to the bank account and confirmation is received from the bank, an SMS will be sent to the customer that he can book the cylinder. Thereafter he will pay the retail price as per the price printed on the refill cash memo to the beneficiary on the distribution of the company / distributor cylinder. For the second refilling, there will be an existing restriction of 15 days between the delivery of the first free refilling and the subsequent booking that only one cylinder will be given in a calendar month. If the customer does not take the refill in these three months, then he can use advance to take the refill till 31 March 2021.
