Democratic Party Deputy National Finance Chairman Ajay Jain Bhutoria is among 150 prominent Democratic donors attending the meeting in Washington DC According to experts, Bhutoria has been given a key role in achieving the target of raising two billion dollars for the 2024 election campaign.

The event was the first in-person conference of Biden's 2024 re-election campaign, where Democratic Party officials presented their campaign strategy and launched their efforts to raise funds to reach a $2 billion goal. This time the target is double the US$1 billion raised during the last election cycle. Participants in the meeting, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said that both Biden and Harris, along with their strategists, appeared confident of winning the 2024 election based on their achievements so far. But they don't want to take any risks. Among those who attended the meeting were California Governor Gavin Newsom, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, Maryland Governor Wes Moore, and various members of Congress and the Senate.

 

Ajay Jain Bhutoria is a longtime Biden supporter

During the meeting, Bhutoria praised the achievements of the Biden administration. Bhutoria has been a long-time supporter of Biden and was instrumental in ensuring his victory in the 2020 election. He raised a significant amount of money for the campaign and mobilized millions of grassroots South Asian voters. Biden addressed his donors and said remember the 2022 midterm elections, we are going to do together again in 2024 what we did at that time. Vice President Harris also spoke personally one-on-one with all top donors. Harris is also pushing Biden's agenda, with comments she recently made about abortion rights in a speech at Howard University. He talked about his work on abortion issues, insulin, and broadband access in his remarks on Friday.
