Meanwhile, Dmitry Muratov, editor-in-chief of Russia's independent newspaper "Novaya Gazeta", has also auctioned his Nobel Prize for helping Ukrainian children.
An event was organized by Heritage Auction in New York for the auction of the Nobel Prize. An unknown buyer bought this Nobel Prize for $103.5 million. Muratov was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2021 for 'protecting the Freedom of Expression' along with Philippine journalist Maria Russa.

Dmitry Muratov has been working for Freedom of Expression in Russia for a long time. He founded Novaya Gazeta in 1993 along with some associates. Within a few years, the newspaper became the only major newspaper to criticize Russian President Vladimir Putin inside and outside the country.
In 2000, 6 Novaya journalists were murdered
Muratov has been subjected to deadly attacks several times. In April last, oil paint mixed with acetone was thrown at him on the train, in which his eyes were burnt. In the year 2000, the people of his newspaper were attacked, in which 6 people were killed. Among them was investigative reporter Anna Politkovskaya.
In the video released by Heritage Auction, he said – Winning the Nobel gives you a chance to be heard. Today people have to understand that there is a war going on and we need to help those who are suffering the most.
Russia claims possession of Toshkivka city
Talking about the war situation, the Russian army on Monday claimed to have captured the area of the Siversky Donets river and the city of Toshkivka near the city of Severodonetsk in eastern Ukraine.
