Want to see hijab woman as PM of India: Owaisi reacts to Rishi Sunak becoming PM in UK

Posted on 26th Oct 2022 01:40 pm by rohit kumar

While there is talk of Indian-origin Rishi Sunak becoming PM in Britain, AIMIM Chief and MP Asaduddin Owaisi says that I want to see a woman with a hijab as the Prime Minister of India. He said these things while reacting to Congress leader Shashi Tharoor's tweet, in which he said – Britain has given a chance to a member of the minority community in its most powerful house. Can this happen in India?

This is not the first time that Owaisi has spoken like this. Earlier, during the hijab controversy that started in Karnataka in February-March. Owaisi had said that in my life or after my life a girl wearing a hijab will become the Prime Minister of India.

BJP's aim to remove Muslims from the country: Owaisi

AIMIM President said that BJP is against Muslims, its real motive is to remove Muslims from the country. Owaisi said that halal meat is a threat to the country, a Muslim's beard is a threat, a Muslim's hat is a threat, and a Muslim's food, drink, clothing, and gold are all in danger. This is the agenda of the BJP.

He also targeted PM Modi. Owaisi said that Modi says 'Sabka Saath and Sabka Vikas', but this is just a word of mouth. Their real purpose is to destroy the identity of a Muslim forever.

Tharoor congratulates Rishi Sunak on becoming UK PM

Shashi Tharoor tweeted and congratulated Rishi Sunak on becoming the UK PM. He wrote – I think we all have to accept that Britons have done something very rare in the world, giving a member of the minority community a chance in their most powerful house. We Indians are celebrating sage Sunak, let's ask honestly- could it be here?

Trended on social media a day ago - Muslim PM

After the announcement of Rishi Sunak becoming PM in Britain, there was a trend of Muslim PMs on social media. In this, Shashi Tharoor also had to face the trollers. George Osborne, President of the British Museum, made a tweet about Rishi Sunak becoming PM. He said- Rishi Sunak will be the Prime Minister by the end of the day. Some think, like me, that he is the solution to our problems; Others think he is part of the problem, but whatever your politics, let us all celebrate the first British Asian becoming PM and be proud of our country where this can happen.
