It rained in many areas of Delhi-NCR on Wednesday. Due to this people got relief from the humid heat. The weather became pleasant due to rain in the morning. Earlier on Tuesday, while light rain was seen in many areas, the humid heat had troubled the people. The Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rain in different areas of Delhi-NCR on Wednesday and Thursday.

 

It has rained in different areas including Akshardham of Delhi. Due to this, the roads were flooded. The rain created a traffic jam, vehicles were seen crawling on the roads. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain on Wednesday. During this time, there will be light clouds in the sky. Due to this, the maximum temperature can be recorded at 34 and the minimum temperature at 26 degrees Celsius.

 

There were light clouds in the sky since Tuesday morning. After this, the period of rain started. At the same time, 8.5 mm of rain was traced in Mayur Vihar, 6.6 mm in Palam, 6.0 mm in Pusa, 3.5 mm in Pitampura, 0.7 mm in Aya Nagar, Lodhi Road, and Ridge. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature was recorded at 36.2 degrees Celsius, one degree more than normal. At the same time, the minimum temperature was recorded at 27.4 degrees Celsius, which is normal. At the same time, strong winds also blew in the evening. Due to this, a decrease in temperature was seen. The humidity level was 65 percent from 95.

 

According to the Meteorological Department, Aya Nagar was the hottest area on Tuesday. The maximum temperature recorded here was 35.3 degrees Celsius. At the same time, the maximum temperature recorded in Palam and Lodhi Road was 35, and in Ridge, it was 33.8 degrees Celsius. The lowest minimum temperature was recorded in Ridge at 22.7 degrees Celsius.
