In Drop One of 'Dinky', fans have been introduced to the story and characters of the film. The video begins with a group of Indians running in a sandbar, being fired upon from behind. A mother is then shown scolding her son, making him swear to his grandmother that he would never dream of going to London again. But he does so and his grandmother passes away. The video then introduces the characters of Shahrukh Khan (Hardy), Taapsee Pannu (Manu), Boman Irani (Gulati), and Vicky (Sukhi), who all dream of going to London. Hardy is heard saying that these four are his family, who want to go to London, and that he loves Manu.
The film will be based on immigration
Watching the first video of the film, it is clear that Rajkumar Hirani's 'Dinky' is going to be based on illegal immigration. How Hardy (Shah Rukh Khan) and all his friends get stuck in the trap of going to London is going to be the crux of the story.
