According to Skymet Weather, light to moderate rain is possible at isolated places over Northeast India, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Vidarbha, Gangetic West Bengal, Telangana, Marathwada, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala today. Light to moderate rain may occur over Odisha, parts of Jharkhand, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Andaman, the Nicobar Islands, and Lakshadweep. Light rain is possible at one or two places over Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan & Goa, Western Himalayas, and West Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. Dust storms and thundershowers are very likely to occur over East Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, and parts of Uttar Pradesh.
Monsoon entry in these states in next 3 days
According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon will enter the North-West Bay of Bengal, parts of Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, the entire sub-Himalayan region, West Bengal, and some more parts of Bihar after 2-3 days. On the other hand, if we talk about Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, and West UP, then the monsoon can reach here by June 25. However, due to western disturbances, there is a possibility of rain on 16-17 June. More such sudden rains may happen before June 25.
Chance of change in weather in Himachal today
A change in weather is expected in Himachal Pradesh from Wednesday. The weather will change due to the active western disturbance. On June 16, there will be rain in the state, there will be snow on the higher peaks. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert. These days people in the state are facing severe heat. Una was the hottest place in the state on Tuesday, where the maximum temperature was 43 degrees Celsius.
