The IMD forecast said that the maximum temperature is likely to drop by 2-3 degrees Celsius over northwest India during the next three days.

 

At the same time, no significant change in the maximum temperature is likely over East India during the next two days. There is a possibility of a partly cloudy sky and drizzle in the capital of Delhi on Tuesday. The maximum temperature is expected to be 43 and the minimum temperature is 32 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain every day for the next six days. A yellow alert was also issued for five days. By Wednesday, the mercury will drop to 41 degrees Celsius and from June 16, there is a possibility of a big relief from the scorching heat.

 

However, under the influence of persistent Western Disturbance and low-level easterly winds, scattered rain and thundershowers are likely to occur over the Western Himalayan region – Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and adjoining areas. is likely to. It is expected in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and the plains of Delhi and Rajasthan till June 15.

 

Today it will rain in these states

 

According to Skymet Weather, one or two parts of Kerala and one or two parts of Kerala may receive light to moderate rain with isolated heavy rains. Light to moderate rain is possible over Western parts of Madhya Pradesh, Southeast Rajasthan, East Gujarat, Konkan & Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, and parts of Interior Karnataka. Light to moderate rain at one or two places very likely over Western Himalayas, parts of Punjab, Saurashtra & Kutch, Lakshadweep, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, and East Madhya Pradesh. Scattered light rain is very likely over Tamil Nadu, South-East Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, and Gangetic West Bengal.

 

Heavy rain likely be in these states from June 16

 

Widespread rainfall is likely over the Western Himalayan region. Very widespread rainfall is expected over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and East Uttar Pradesh on June 16 and 17. IMD's forecast said that on June 16, there is a possibility of heavy rains in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, North Punjab, and North Haryana.

 

It will rain in Himachal after three days

The people of Punjab, who are facing the heat of summer, are going to get relief in two days. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather pattern is expected to change from late Tuesday evening. On Wednesday it will be cloudy and strong winds will blow. Also, it will rain.

 

Parts of northwest India are in the grip of severe heat

 

IMD has said that parts of northwest India faced a severe heatwave on Monday. However, the heat wave conditions have subsided in the rest of the country. Heat wave conditions prevail over parts of Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Odisha. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of getting great relief from the scorching Sun till June 15-16. The IMD said that on June 16, there is a possibility of heavy rains in Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, North Punjab, and North Haryana. The maximum temperature is likely to remain below normal between June 16 and June 22.

 

The monsoon reaches Gujarat, and heavy rain likely in these areas

 

The Southwest Monsoon reached Gujarat on Monday, two days ahead of schedule. This led to heavy rains in Mahisagar district and some other parts of the state. The Ahmedabad-based IMD center said in a bulletin on Monday afternoon that conditions are favorable for the further advance of the monsoon into parts of Gujarat. The official said that there is a possibility of rain and thundershowers in some parts of the state during the next five days.
