The weather is once again seeing ups and downs. The weather remains dry in North India with the onset of a cold. But the northeast monsoon is set to knock soon. According to the Meteorological Department, today i.e. on October 31, there may be heavy rain in many states of South India. IMD has issued an orange alert because of heavy rains in Tamil Nadu. At the same time, a yellow alert has been issued in Andhra Pradesh, Puducherry, and Kerala. Northeasterly winds have intensified over the Bay of Bengal and the Northeast Monsoon will start soon. With this, the rain activities will gradually increase over the coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh and many parts of Tamil Nadu from November 1. According to Skymet Weather, as soon as November starts, the line of Western Disturbance can be seen. Heavy snowfall is expected in the mountains. Due to the influence of cyclonic winds forming over North India, rain may occur at some places over Punjab, Haryana, and Northwest Uttar Pradesh. Light rain is also possible in Delhi. The North-East Monsoon has now reached South India, now South India will see good rains.
Heavy rain alert in these states today
According to IMD, Northeast Monsoon rains have started over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, and adjoining areas of Karaikal and Andhra Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has predicted various levels of rain in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, and parts of Karnataka till November 2. Today there is a possibility of heavy rain in these states. Because of heavy rains, an orange alert has been issued in some states and a yellow alert has been issued in some states. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain for the next 3 days in some states of South India.
Weather will be mixed in Delhi
Talking about the weather of Delhi and its adjoining areas, the minimum temperature can be recorded in the capital today, October 31, at 15 degrees and the maximum temperature is 31. Along with this, there has been fog since morning. Talking about pollution, Delhi's AQI remains in very poor condition.
Be ready for the bitter cold
Due to western disturbances, there is a possibility of a tremendous increase in cold from the second week of November. According to the Meteorological Department, two western disturbances are going to knock on the country in the next week. Due to this, from November 6 to central India, the day will be colder. Not only this, there may be severe winter in the states from hilly states to central India for the next four months.
Chance of rain and snowfall on the mountains
The Western Disturbance is likely to knock on November 3. Due to this, there may be rain and snowfall in Kashmir, Himachal, and Uttarakhand till November 5. The Meteorological Department says that this year the number will increase on cold days. The cold weather is expected to last for four months.
