The case surrounding the suspicious death of Noida resident Twisha Sharma is gaining increasing momentum. Raising serious questions regarding the matter, Twisha's family has demanded a second post-mortem examination. The family alleges that there is a discrepancy between the post-mortem report and the evidence recovered from the scene. Furthermore, the family has demanded the arrest of her husband, Samarth Singh, and his mother. On Sunday, Twisha's relatives arrived at the Chief Minister's residence in Bhopal, met with the Chief Minister, and appealed for justice.
“Post-mortem Report and Evidence Do Not Match”
Twisha's father, Navnidhi Sharma, stated that the case is highly suspicious, raising the question of how the final rites for the body could be performed under such circumstances. He pointed out that there are numerous contradictions between the post-mortem report and the evidence collected from the crime scene. For this reason, the family has submitted an application requesting a second post-mortem. He noted that this case involves a high-profile family, and their hopes of securing justice now appear dim.
“My Daughter Was Murdered”
Becoming emotional, Twisha's mother, Rekha Sharma, asserted that her daughter had been murdered. She alleged that both her husband, Samarth Singh, and his mother should be arrested. The family claims that Twisha had been subjected to mental and physical harassment ever since her marriage.

According to reports, Twisha Sharma met Samarth Singh—a lawyer based in Bhopal—through a dating app. The couple had a love marriage in December 2025. Just five months after the wedding, Twisha died under suspicious circumstances. In connection with the case, Twisha's mother-in-law—retired Justice Giribala Singh—has already been granted anticipatory bail, a decision the family continues to question.
Relatives Arrive at CM's Residence, Demand Direct Meeting
On Sunday, Twisha's family members arrived at the residence of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav in Bhopal. Standing outside the CM's residence, the family demanded a meeting with the Chief Minister. Police officials present at the scene attempted to reason with them, but the relatives remained adamant in their insistence on meeting directly with the CM. After a prolonged discussion, the police eventually allowed the family to enter the premises to hold talks with the officials. Demand for a Second Post-mortem at AIIMS Delhi
The family has demanded that a second post-mortem of Twisha be conducted at AIIMS Delhi and that an impartial investigation into the matter be carried out. The family states that, even six days after her death, they have not yet collected the body from the mortuary. Twisha's brother is a Major in the Indian Army, and the entire family is demanding strict action in this case.
