The weather in North India may once again change. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, due to the new Western Disturbance, scattered rain and thundershowers may occur in parts of Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Delhi on Wednesday i.e. March 2. At present, a Western Disturbance is active over Pakistan. On Wednesday also a high-frequency Western Disturbance is likely to enter North India. Due to its effect, changing the direction of the wind can lead to cloud cover and drizzle.

 

Chance of rain in Rajasthan

 

According to the Meteorological Department, today it may rain in some parts of Bikaner, Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Jaisalmer, Churu, Nagaur, Sikar, and Jhunjhunu districts of Rajasthan afternoon. The minimum temperature of Jaipur can be 14 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature can be 28 degrees Celsius.

 

Chances of rain in these areas

 

An area of ​​low pressure has formed over the southeast Bay of Bengal and the south Andaman Sea. Due to this light to moderate rains are occurring over the southern parts of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain in the coming days in many parts of Uttar Pradesh.

There is a possibility of rain in the capital Delhi also today. According to the Meteorological Department, it will be cloudy throughout the day in Delhi and light rain may occur in some parts. The minimum temperature in Delhi today is 10 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature is likely to remain 28 degrees Celsius. Delhi's air quality i.e. Air Quality Index (AQI) now remains in the medium category. According to the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR), the average air quality index (AQI) was recorded at 145 at around 9 am on March 2, which falls in the 'moderate' category.
