According to the Indian Meteorological Department, due to the new Western Disturbance, scattered rain and thundershowers may occur in parts of Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Delhi on Wednesday i.e. March 2. At present, a Western Disturbance is active over Pakistan. On Wednesday also a high-frequency Western Disturbance is likely to enter North India. Due to its effect, changing the direction of the wind can lead to cloud cover and drizzle.

According to the Meteorological Department, today it may rain in some parts of Bikaner, Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Jaisalmer, Churu, Nagaur, Sikar, and Jhunjhunu districts of Rajasthan afternoon. The minimum temperature of Jaipur can be 14 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature can be 28 degrees Celsius.

An area of low pressure has formed over the southeast Bay of Bengal and the south Andaman Sea. Due to this light to moderate rains are occurring over the southern parts of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain in the coming days in many parts of Uttar Pradesh.

According to the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR), the average air quality index (AQI) was recorded at 145 at around 9 am on March 2, which falls in the 'moderate' category.
