Weather Update: Winter returns in Delhi! Mercury reached 1.4 degrees; What is the weather condition from UP to Bihar

The torture of winter continues in the country. In many states of the country including North India, people are not getting relief from the cold wave. There are also cities in many states of the country, where the minimum temperature has dropped to one degree Celsius. In such a situation, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert at many places including Delhi-NCR.

 

Delhi will not get relief for five days

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in Delhi till January 21. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for a cold wave from Monday to Wednesday and a yellow alert for dense fog from 19 to 21. According to the IMD, Lodhi Road recorded a minimum temperature of 1.6 degrees Celsius today, while Safdarjung recorded a minimum temperature of 1.4 degrees Celsius. How will be the weather in UP

The Meteorological Department has issued a cold wave warning in western UP from today. The cold will increase further in Bihar

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy snowfall in the hilly areas of North India, its effect will be seen in the weather of Bihar. During the next three days, many districts will come under the grip of a cold wave due to a fall of four to six degree Celsius in the day and night temperatures. Whereas, the entire Bihar will be wrapped in a blanket of fog.

 

The cold will increase in Uttarakhand

The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of increasing cold in Uttarakhand in the next few days. According to the Meteorological Center, the weather will remain dry in the state for the next two days. A warning has been issued regarding cold wave conditions in Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar. The activity of Western Disturbance may increase from coming January 18. Due to this, there is a possibility of snowfall in the mountainous areas of Uttarakhand and rain in the lower areas.

 

The temperature was three and a half degrees in Rewari

On the other hand, in Haryana's Rewari, the temperature of the district was recorded at 3.5 degrees Celsius on Sunday. Monday was the coldest of the season. On Monday, there was a layer of frost on the crops. According to the Agricultural Meteorology Department of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, the process of cold waves and frost may continue till January 18.

 

Snowfall continues in Himachal and Jammu and Kashmir

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding many districts of Himachal Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of a cold wave in Una, Hamirpur, Bilaspur, and Sirmaur, while dense fog has been warned in Kangra, Mandi, and Solan along with these four districts. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of continuous snowfall in the hilly areas of Jammu and Kashmir. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will change again in Jammu and Kashmir from January 19 and there is a possibility of snowfall and rain till January 24.

 

How will be the weather in these states including Punjab, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh

Let us tell you that on Sunday, the minimum temperature of minus 4.7 degrees was recorded in Fatehpur of the Sikar district of Rajasthan. At the same time, minus 2.5 degrees Celsius was recorded in Churu, and minus one-degree temperature was also recorded in Faridkot in Punjab. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is expected to remain like this for the next three days and there is a possibility of a cold wave in the plains till January 18. A further drop in temperature is likely over Gujarat, western parts of Madhya Pradesh, and North Madhya Maharashtra.
