Nepal Plane Crash- Where is a friend like you, where is such a friend... The world will remember your story of mine... This song, sung by Kishore Kumar in the film 'Yaarana', released in 1981, came to the attention of the people after seeing the deep friendship of the four friends who were lost in the plane crash. Sonu Jaiswal, Anil Rajbhar, Vishal Sharma, and Abhishek Kushwaha, who were victims of the Nepal plane crash, had a close friendship since childhood. The distance between their villages is just three km. Being adjacent to Zahurabad market, all these used to meet here often. Sonu was affluent as compared to other friends. He took all three to Nepal at his own expense and all the friends left the world together.
Pradeep Singh Kushwaha, director of RD Memorial Public School, Alawalpur, told that all four boys had studied here only. All four of them became friends in class nine. If you believe the local people, sometimes they used to quarrel with each other, but within a few days they became friends again. Time kept changing, but their friendship continued like this. Sonu Jaiswal was often out in connection with his work but kept in touch with friends. Out of the four, only Sonu got married four years ago.
Anil Rajbhar was financially weak. He had a plan and computer shop on the village floor itself. Similarly, Abhishek Kushwaha is also a resident of Dharwa. It was his dream to travel in an airplane in Nepal. When Sonu made a plan to go to Nepal a few days back, everyone agreed. Sonu made everyone travel at his own expense.
On having a son, had asked for the darshan of Pashupatinath
Sonu Jaiswal, a resident of Chakzainab, who was among the four people killed in Nepal's Pokhara plane crash, had sought a vow six months ago to visit Pashupatinath after having a son. After Sonu's two daughters Aaradhya (6) and Anamika (3), son Jeevandeep has been born recently. Sonu's family close and village head Vijay Jaiswal says that on the birth of his son, Sonu had sought a vow to visit Pashupatinath in Nepal. Probably this was what he had reached to accomplish. After darshan, he was going for a walk.
